Mobile Phone Repair Term and Conditions

When you send your Mobile or Tablet in to us for a repair it is tested by one of fully trained phone technicians and sometimes additional faults are found due to the nature of dropping a phone and shrapnels of glass being dislodged inside the phone case.  If we find an additional fault with your mobile device we will send you an additional repair cost via email.  It is up to you if you choose to proceed or not. If you choose to go ahead with the repair, once we receive payment, your mobile device will be passed back to our technicians and repaired at that point in full. if you choose not to go ahead with the additional repair we will send the mobile device back to you, If you have any queries about the additional repairs, please do not hesitate to email or phone us for more details.

Waterproof Phones:

Mobile devices that are waterproof are originally sealed in the factory using special techniques which we cant replicate here.  We can repaitr waterproof phones however we do not guarantee the water resistance of the repair.

Please make sure you fully BACK UP you mobile or tablet device before sending it to us. WE CANNOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA while the phone is in our possession.  Carrying out a fully back up will ensure you have all your data safe and secure before sending it to us.

If we carry out a water damage, screen or mother board related repair on any of the following devices and error 53 appears on the device, we cannot be held responsible. This is an issue with Apple and not caused by the repair carried out by Dr.FIX and it will not be covered by our warranty.

We will attempt a secondary repair on your Mobile/Tablet device twice after the initial repair should you encounter faults with the initial repair and only related to the initial fault to which it was sent to us.  If after this, the Mobile or Tablet device is still faulty we will authorise a refund (minus postage costs).  We will need to see the mobile device and make sure its faulty prior to issuing a refund.  This does not include diagnostic and water damage related repairs and only relates to the part we have replaced on your item.

The tool is used by many Web sites to help collect information, such as how many people visit and return to the site, what products are being bought, and to make certain parts of the site function properly.
Like other retailers we use 'cookies' to allow us to fill in our login fields with your email address, once you have registered.  This is to enable customers to login to our site more quickly and easily when you make future visits to DrFix.co.uk
If you are using another person's computer to login to our site (eg in an internet cafe or a colleagues computer at work) then it's possible your e mail address will display in the login field to a subsequent user of our site.  We therefore advise customers to clear 'cookies' stored by the web browser when using another person's machine in order to prevent this from happening.  The option to do this is normally found within the Tools dropdown menu at the top of the browser window.

If you have "disabled" the cookies file in your browser, you may experience technical problems with some parts of the site. (For example products you have placed in your basket may be lost.)
